IEPER HARDCORE FEST

Ieperfest has always been more than music! Last year we started a new tradition: every year we adopt an animal in De Zonnegloed and make them the star of our poster. This year we adopted manderoo (monkey) Kerala! De Zonnegloed is an amazing animal sanctuary that gives a home to animals that can’t return to the wild. Check them out!

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

As of 2023, Ieperfest is located next to the train station in Ieper. Check out nmbs.be for all information about Belgian train logistics.

PARKING

There is free parking in front of the station, “navigate to Randparking, Colaertplein 31, 8900 Ieper”. At “Minneplein” you can also park your car for free, only an 8 minute walk to the festival.

FESTIVAL OPENING & CLOSING HOURS

*Festival site: 12:00 PM – 04:00 AM on Friday & Saturday | 12:00 PM – 01:00 AM Sunday.

*Bar CAFE closing times: 11:00 pm Friday, Saturday & Sunday.

*Bar CONCERTHALL closing times: 03:30 AM Friday, Saturday | 12:00 AM Sunday.

*Tokens office closing times: 03:30 AM Friday, Saturday | 11:00 PM Sunday.

*Afterparty ends at 04:00 AM (Friday & Saturday only)

*Beerbar closing times: 12:00 PM Friday, Saturday & Sunday

OUR CUPS & PLATES SYSTEM

• When you buy a drink, you give an extra digital token as warrant.
• When you’re no longer thirsty and you return your empty cup to the bar, you get a digital token uploaded on your app/card.
• When you want something to drink and have an empty cup, you can use it at the bar as a token.
• Same goes for (food) plates, only plates have to be returned at the washing up place!

DIGITAL PAYMENT SYSTEM

This year we decided to leave the physical tokens behind. Instead we are switching to a digital system.

There are two ways to pay for drinks/food at the festival:

1)Download our app (IEPERFEST) & wire money straight into your account. Pay for drinks/food using the app.
2) Buy a digital card at the festival (€1) and top up using cash/card at our ticketbooth.

The app allows you to avoid queues and check your remaining balance at all time. The app will also have valuable info about the festival & will make it easier to share important updates with you during the fest.

If you go with the second option, you’ll be able to see your balance at the bar/foodstands when you buy something.
