Yes, it’s true! Orange County’s finest melodic punk rock/hardcore act IGNITE will be hitting the Ieperfest stage this year! These guys have been making music together since 1993, some of you were still in diapers back then. Much of their music is socially and politically aware: IGNITE actively support organizations such as Earth First, Doctors Without Borders, Sea Shepherd, AMI and Pacific Wildlife. The legendary Zoli Teglas and his 4 brothers in arms were first successful in the European hardcore scene in 1997, when they recorded a split record with Portuguese straight edge band X-ACTO. In total, IGNITE has released 2 demos, 6 7” records, 1 10” record and countless full-length albums. Make sure you’re present at Ieperfest on Sunday to sing along to all of their classics! |
